How We Work

Our client relationships are the building blocs of our business and client service is our prime concern. In Project Management we utilize PMP based methods while ensuring we are sympathetic to the way our clients work. We employ the Rational Unified Process (RUP) as our core development methodology. Development Projects are managed within RUP framework with defined artifacts at each stage and performance evaluation matrices. The process toolkit we use adopts best practices from the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) framework.

Our Product Development engagements go through a slight variation of this process. The key difference between regular technology projects and Product Development projects being whether we are 95% +  clear at the start of the direction of the project. Products development projects do undergo iterations in objectives, requirements and intent while they are under development. Therefore Calance has pioneered an approach which brings the best of RUP and Agile frameworks to get us to where we want to go…One Step at a Time.

We provide our clients the option of utilizing a cost efficient, quick time to market strategy by utilizing offshore development centers for technology and product development engagements. During any such engagement we ensure complete Client visibility and control through daily meetings and frequent checkpoints. We maintain project control locally throughout project lifecycle.
